Yeah, I’m 17 already and Christmas doesn’t seem to fit my age (for Ninongs and Ninangs) But is that all this Christmas is all about? I don’t think so.

2000+ years ago, a Child was born. He was born in a place where animals do live. A Child who is prophesied to save us all. And what had been written and said came true. This Child named Jesus Christ was nailed on the cross for you and me. Well, that’s another story to tell. All I want us to remember is this one thing.

Let’s celebrate Christmas by returning to the basics. Let’s ask ourselves what does Christmas really means? This is a day to celebrate the birth of a child on that manger. A day of GIVING and SHARING what the Lord have given us.

Christmas isn’t not limited on this 25th alone. We can put it on our everyday lives. Appreciate simple things. Be satisfied on what you have. Give thanks rather than complaining of the things you don’t have. Remember the people who have less. Help from the heart. It doesn’t matter how big or small. What matters is its sincerity. Share love. Money isn’t the best gift at all. Lifetime friendship and love is satisfactory.
